GL-ACW-P
Autocashiers for the Parking Industry
The GL-ACW-P in-lane paystation is a hybrid of Hamilton's GL-ACW paystation
for automatic car washes. In production for over 17 years and installed
throughout the United States, this unit has a proven reputation for its
ruggedness and reliability regardless of climate and temperature.

The parking version of the GL-ACW, the GL-ACW-P, is an in-lane paystation
which is installed at the entrance or exit of a lot or parking garage. It has the
ability to accept $1 through $20 dollar bills as well as quarters, metal tokens
and Hamilton's exclusive "Tokenote®" paper tokens. Change is returned in
quarters from the self-replenishing hopper (a dollar coin option is available).

Having been completely redesigned electronically, the GL-ACW-P now has the
added convenience of a printed receipt dispenser option as well as credit card
acceptance. Audit reports may be printed from the receipt printer or faxed daily
to a fax machine or PC when the credit card option is installed.

Designed for fixed rate situations, the GL-ACW-P has been enhanced with up to
9 programmable parking rates for automatic changes on a daily, weekly, or
special event basis. This increase in flexibility provides the opportunity to adjust
fees more frequently.

Console & Pedestal Bases

Stainless steel console and carbon steel pedestal bases are available for all ACW
models. 20" in. versions are available for curb mounting and 26" in. versions for
surface mount.

Scrolling Interactive Display & Hood

Super bright LED's provide enough light to make this display easily seen… even in
bright sunlight!

Two versions are available: one for mounting directly in the optional "ACW Cover
Assembly" and the second for mounting externally on or near units installed in other
fashions ..

When no one is using the Pay Station, the sign can be programmed to display four
lines of up to 40 characters, permitting the operator to advertise anything they wish
to promote, such as:

• Co-op advertising with neighboring vendors and businesses.
• Promote Special Event Parking
• Promote discounts and specials.

The parking industry version alternates its lines of advertising with the instruction
prompts until payment is received, at which time it displays only the instructions and
credits.

Time Pass® Control System

This system is the easiest way to increase revenue and reduce overhead costs.
Customers receive a ticket from the Ticket Dispenser at the lot entrance and
pay their fee at the Autocashier upon exiting the lot.

The Time Pass® Ticket Dispenser issues a secure 9 digit encrypted ticket at the
entrance of the lot. Ticket dispensing can be triggered by loop sensor, treadle or
by simply pressing the button. When the ticket is removed from the machine,
the entrance gate is activated.

The Autocashier, stationed at the exit of the facility, calculates the fee,
displays the amount, accepts payment, returns change and operates the exit
gate. Fees may be collected via cash, tokens, Tokenotes® , or credit card. For
customers who wish to collect a record of their transaction, a receipt printer is
included on the Autocashier.

The Time Pass® System allows you to have up to 8 Ticket Dispensers and up to
8 Autocashiers in any combination.

Pay & Display

The Hamilton Pay & Display is the ideal solution for many pre-pay parking situations
including municipalities, hospitals, marinas or universities - lots and garages alike.

The customer may choose from eight pre-programmed time blocks and pay with
cash, credit, or tokens. The receipt is then placed on the dashboard of the
vehicle. The 8 blocks of time can be programmed anywhere from 0 minutes to over
4 days. The receipt is printed with large bold type that allows an enforcement
officer to read the expiration date and time from a distance of 20 feet or more!

MPU
Mini Park
The Hamilton MPU-1 "Mini-Park" unit is designed to eliminate the use of metal
tokens in the parking industry. This unit is designed to accept only Hamilton
"Tokenote®" paper tokens and open a parking gate.

Unlike metal tokens of which there are only a few standard sizes, Hamilton
"Tokenotes®" are encoded with a unique code. Since thousands of different
codes are available, the problems associated with accepting metal tokens
from pizza or video arcades and other parking facilities is eliminated.

The unit is housed in a stainless steel cabinet and is lighted for night use.
The unit contains a Hamilton "Tokenote®" currency validator, single stacker
to retain the "Tokenotes®" and a control panel with dry contact relays for
gate communication.

MPU-TK
Ticket Retrieval
The Hamilton MPU-TK is ideally suited for parking situations where the need to
retrieve entrance tickets after hours is necessary or desirable. The purpose of
this unit is to restore audit control and reduce shrinkage in situations where
attendants leave the lot before all vehicles have exited.

This simple, reliable unit is housed in a stainless steel cabinet and is lighted for
evening use. Accessed from the rear for out-of-lane servicing, the unit contains
a custom Hamilton currency acceptor and dry contact relay panel. The unit will
accept any standard 2in.X4in. stock entry ticket.

In addition to stand-alone operation, the MPU-TK has been adapted by some
installers to work with the Hamilton ACW-5-P for continued revenue collection
after the attendant leaves for the evening.
