MODULAR SERIES – Simple-Function Change Machines Benefits

The Modular Series Changers are simple function change machines – but don’t let this term fool
you. By Simple-Function, it means that you put bills in, and you get change out – SIMPLE.
Smart Hopper Technology allows Standard to create modules that will supply more of the “bells and whistles” that are available in their higher priced changers. The brains of the change machine are located in the hopper itself.
Switching Power Supply – reduces heat generation inside the machine. The reduced heat
translates to better performance and longer life of the electronics.
Modular Series Hoppers can be programmed in the field without any need for a handheld device.
All Modular Series Hoppers are provided with a Fast Vend Shut-Off/Auto Reset function – that
can detect a “stringing” attempt and shuts the change machine down! In addition to the
machine shut down, it will then reset itself without any owner involvement.
Easy to Service and Troubleshoot in the field.
Models MC500RL-DA, MC900-DA & MC720-DA – have a “Dual Redundancy” feature. Instead of
two separate and independent machines in one cabinet (like the competition) – each individual
hopper can interface with each individual bill acceptor. This provides true back-up capability! If
you have a bill jam in one acceptor – the other acceptor can dispense from both hoppers.
Likewise, if you have a problem with a hopper – both bill acceptors can communicate with the
working hopper.
