Rowe BA-50 Pressure Roller Cleaning Card 25254801



This cleaning card was specially designed by Rowe International to remove ink and other contaminants from the two pressure rollers inside their BA-50 bill acceptors. Unlike other cleaning cards, this dry card has an adhesive strip that will remove build-up from the hard to reach internal pressure rollers.


Since the Rowe Cleaning Card is only designed to clean the pressure rollers, it should be used in combination with our Dollar Bill Cleaning Cards to completely clean all parts of your bill acceptor.


The Rowe Cleaning Cards will work effectively on the following Rowe Bill Changer models:
BC 100, BC 150, BC 200
BC 1200, BC 1400, and BC 3500.


Regular use of the Rowe Cleaning Card can fix and prevent the following error messages:


REJECT - LATE VF
REJECT – SPEED
REJECT - LOST TACH
REJECT - BILL (B)
REJECT - BILL (C)
REJECT - LATE VF
REJECT - LOST TACH
REJECT - BILL (A)
REJECT - BILL (B)



Instructions for use:


(1) Remove the protective paper from the adhesive located on the bottom side of the cleaning strip.



(2) Insert end 1 of the strip into the transport. The strip will be transported into the bill acceptor. When the strip is rejected, remove it and reinsert for a total of five times. This will effectively loosen any caked-on ink and contaminants.


(3) Insert end 2 of the strip into the transport. When the strip is rejected, remove it and reinsert for a total of five times.


Note: If after completing step 2 and 3 the strip is completely soiled, repeat the entire process with a new card.


If a strip becomes jammed in the transport, remove the strip in the same manner that a jammed bill would be removed.


Once the pressure rollers have been successfully cleaned, we recommend the use of Dollar Bill Reader Cleaning Card (SKU: 2977) which will complete the maintenance process.


We recommend performing this maintenance every 2 weeks, but this time frame may need to be changed depending on your machine’s usage.
